This vital importance of such a mapping process lies in its results allows to build a network of benefits from the social existed assets, which may be undiscovered or unused for the sake of considering arts and culture as a major pillar in comprehensive and sustainable development, as well as to realize the importance of the role of the creative economy in employability, as well as investment in human beings, which in turn leads to the building of resilient societies that accept and value diversity and pluralism.

From this point of view, we decided to take the initiative and launch Performance-Arts.net as a platform for performing arts practitioners and recipients; in other words, it is for all individuals and organizations who are involved in the field in a way or another. This platform also works as a core of a research tool designed to generate and analyze data on cultural uses and practices in public and publicly-accessible spaces in the MENA region. However and for 2018, it works for Alexandria, but in our future plans it will work for Egypt, and then for the whole region, whenever we find the appropriate partners according to our strategy.
